# Keep the watch you have. Log the day once.

POWR reads what you allow from Apple Health on iPhone — workouts, heart, sleep, movement, body — and writes your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight back. The point is one diary for the day without typing the same session twice. An Apple Watch is optional. If another app already writes to HealthKit, those sessions can still land in POWR.

## Granted per category, read from Health

Workouts and routes

A session saved from a watch or another app lands in the POWR diary, route and all. You do not retype it.

Heart

Heart rate, resting heart rate, variability, one-minute recovery, and the raw signals underneath — several of which POWR reads on the phone and never sends anywhere.

Sleep and recovery

Last night's sleep, breathing rate, blood oxygen, and sleeping wrist temperature, wherever your devices record them.

Movement

Steps, walking, running and cycling distance, active energy, flights, exercise and stand minutes — and running form down to stride length.

Body

Weight, body fat, and lean mass, so the trend is not split across two apps.

Mind and cycle

State of Mind entries, mindful minutes, and cycle where you allow it. POWR's own cycle log stays on your phone.

## HealthKit is the ledger; POWR is one more reader

POWR does not ask you to replace the watch face or the workout app you already use. Those keep working and keep writing to Health. POWR reads out of that shared ledger only where you grant it, and writes four things back.

Food is only one row of the day. Training load, last night's sleep, and weight sit next to the meals when they are present, so recovery and the next session stop being a guess made from calories alone. On Pro, the AI companion answers from that diary rather than from a generic template.

What flows back

- Workouts you record in POWR, with route and heart rate
- Nutrition from meals you log by photo, barcode, search, or hand
- Water you log in POWR
- Weight you log in POWR

That is the whole write list. The rest of your Health setup can then see your training and your food diary without you keeping a second log of either.

## There is a POWR watch app, and you still don't need one

The phone is the whole product. The watch is there for the moments the phone isn't, and everything it records lands in the same diary.

### Record a workout

Start, run, and finish a session from the wrist, or confirm one the watch detected on its own. Discarding it removes it from Apple Health too.

### Log without the phone

A meal, a glass of water, or a nap, logged on the watch and waiting in the same diary when you next open the app.

### The day at a glance

Today's fuel and your readiness, readable in the second you raise your wrist.

### Check in from the wrist

Mood, soreness, and energy, each one optional and each one two taps.

### Three complications

Readiness, fuel, and hydration on the watch face, so the next decision does not need an app at all.

### Ask Siri

"Log water." "Describe a meal." The entry is waiting in the diary when you next look.

## Revocable any time, one category at a time

### You grant it

Access is granted per category on the iPhone. Nothing syncs until you allow it.

### You can revoke it

iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Health, POWR. Turning access off stops further reads and writes. It does not delete the meals you already logged.

Health data is yours. It is not sold and it is not used for ads. The [privacy policy](https://powrhealth.com/privacy) covers the specifics. POWR is iPhone only and is built around HealthKit; Android is not available yet. What the free tier includes and what Pro adds is laid out on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing).

## FAQ

### Does POWR sync with Apple Health?

Yes. Workouts, heart, sleep, movement, and body measurements flow in from HealthKit, and POWR writes your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight back, so your existing setup keeps working.

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. POWR works on iPhone on its own. If you have a watch there is a POWR watch app, and any other app writing to HealthKit still reaches POWR. Nothing is double-entered.

### What does the POWR Apple Watch app do?

Start and record a workout from the wrist, log a meal, water, a nap, or a check-in, and see the day and your readiness at a glance. Three complications keep readiness, fuel, and hydration on the watch face. Anything you record there lands in the same diary as the phone.

### What does POWR write back to Apple Health?

Four things: the workouts you record in POWR with their route and heart rate, nutrition from the meals you log, water, and weight. Each one is a separate permission you grant, and an ungranted type is skipped rather than nagged about.

### Will I have to log workouts twice?

No. If the workout is already in Apple Health, POWR can read it. You do not retype a session another app already saved.

### Is my health data private?

Your data is yours. It is not sold or used for ads. You can revoke Health access in iOS Settings at any time.
