## About POWR

What the app is, who builds it, what it costs, and what it does not do.

[POWR overview Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/)

### What is POWR?

An iPhone app that reads your sleep, training, meals, and bloodwork together, and turns them into one thing worth doing today. Every figure it quotes comes from your own data.

### Is it free to use?

POWR is free to download, and the free tier is a complete tracker: barcode, search, and manual logging, full nutrition on every entry, adaptive calorie targets, and workout recording. Pro adds the AI.

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. POWR works on iPhone on its own. If you have a watch there is a POWR watch app, and anything else that writes to Apple Health reaches POWR anyway.

### Does it sync with Apple Health?

Yes, and in both directions. Workouts, heart, sleep, movement, and body data flow in, and POWR writes your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight back.

### Is my health data private?

One switch turns off every AI feature. There is one external provider and one file that can reach it, 36 columns of health data are encrypted individually, and analytics and crash reporting stay off until you turn them on — with no user id, no food names, and no record ids even then. Connected assistants like ChatGPT have their own [approval and off switch](https://powrhealth.com/privacy#ai-assistants). [Your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data) walks through the whole boundary.

### Does it work on Android?

Not yet. POWR is iPhone-only today because it is built around HealthKit. Android stays on the roadmap.

[The company behind POWR Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/about)

### Who makes POWR?

Derek Delgado founded POWR in 2026 and designs, builds, and supports it. The company behind it is Vitality Wellness LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and that is the name on the App Store listing.

### How big is the team behind POWR?

One person. Derek Delgado writes the code, ships the releases, and answers the support inbox, so a bug report reaches the person who can fix it.

### Where is POWR based?

POWR is run remotely and has no public street address. Vitality Wellness LLC is formed in Wyoming, in the United States.

### How does POWR make money?

From POWR Pro, a subscription at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year through the App Store. There are no ads on either tier, and your health data is not sold or used for advertising.

### How do I reach the founder?

Email [support@powrhealth.com](mailto:support@powrhealth.com). Derek Delgado reads and answers it himself, within 24 to 48 hours.

## Logging and nutrients

The daily loop: what a photo produces, what an entry holds, and where the calorie target comes from.

[Photo meal logging Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/photo-meal-logging)

### How does photo logging work?

Snap a meal. POWR estimates calories, macros, and micronutrients from the ingredients it can see. Every estimate is reviewable before it is saved. Photo logging is Pro, unlimited under fair use.

### Is photo logging free?

No. Photo logging is Pro. Free covers barcode, search, and manual entry, with the same nutrition detail on every entry. The coach's read on a meal is part of Pro.

### What if the photo is wrong?

Edit it. Change foods, portions, or extras before you save. The camera starts the entry. You finish it.

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Photo logging runs on iPhone. A watch is optional for the rest of the day.

### Can I log without a photo?

Yes. Barcode, search, and text entry are unlimited on the free tier.

[Recipe scan Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/recipe-scan)

### What is Plan my week?

Plan my week is POWR's meal planner. Open Plans and choose the Meals lens; it fills a week of meal slots from saved meals and meal templates. It does not build a workout week.

### Is Plan my week the same as training plans?

No. Plan my week fills meal slots in Plans → Meals. [Training plans](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans) is POWR's separate training planner for blocks such as base, build, peak, and taper.

### Can POWR scan a recipe from Instagram or TikTok?

Yes. POWR can scan a recipe you found on social media and save it into the food log. That is scan-and-save, not a recipe library.

### Does POWR have a recipe library?

No. POWR has no browsable recipe library and no meal-plan library. It can scan a recipe from social and save it, reuse a meal you already logged, and plan meals with Plan my week. That planner is not a library or a guided diet program.

### Is scan-and-save the same as Share Extension / share-into-app?

No. Scan-and-save from social is live. Share-into-app stays unsigned until Product signs that a user can actually share into the app.

### Does POWR have a fasting timer?

No. There is no fasting timer and no fasting protocol in POWR.

### Can I import a recipe from a website or PDF?

Scan-and-save is built for recipes you find on social. Everyday meals still go through photo, barcode, or words. There is no separate recipe-import library.

### What happens after I save a scanned recipe?

It lands in your food log like any other meal you logged, with calories, macros, micros, and ingredients. It then sits beside workouts, sleep, and the rest of the day in one system.

### Is this a meal-plan app?

POWR has a meal planner called Plan my week in Plans → Meals. It fills the week from saved meals and meal templates. It does not ship a meal-plan library or guided diet programs. It also logs food, including recipes you scanned from social, and connects that log to the rest of your health picture.

### Do I need Pro to scan a recipe from social?

Pricing detail stays on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing). This page does not invent a Free/Pro split for scan-and-save.

[Calorie and macro targets Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/calorie-targets)

### How is this different from a calorie calculator?

POWR can adapt calorie and macro targets using your logged history and goals. A standalone calculator provides an estimate from the inputs you give it. Both have uncertainty.

### Does it measure my metabolism?

No. Targets are estimates informed by your records, not a direct measurement of metabolism. Missing food entries and short-term weight changes can affect the picture.

### Can I set targets manually?

Yes. You can choose manual targets rather than adaptive ones.

### What if my goal is unrealistic?

POWR can flag a goal it cannot support and offer alternatives. This is not a medical assessment or a guarantee of safety.

### Is this a paid feature?

No. Adaptive calorie and macro targets are included in Free. See [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing).

## Our approach

Evidence standards, uncertainty, and the limits of AI guidance.

[Our approach Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/our-approach)

### Is this medical advice?

No. POWR and its learning guides provide general wellness information, not diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for individual care.

### Where can I check the sources?

Each learning guide links to the publications or public guidance supporting its claims. Our approach explains our evidence standards and limitations.

### Do the website calculators give my app targets?

No. They illustrate public educational methods. They are separate from personalized app targets and do not predict what the app will show.

### How do I report an error?

Contact the team with the page, the specific claim, and a supporting source. Please do not include personal health records.

[The POWR coach Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/ai-coach)

### What happens when it cannot answer?

You may see an unavailable response and need to retry. Do not rely on an AI reply for urgent health needs.

### Is my chat history stored?

Yes, against your account, so you can refer back to it across sessions and devices. It is encrypted at rest, and deleting your account deletes it.

### Do I need Pro?

Yes, for AI features. Barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, full nutrition detail, and adaptive calorie and macro targets are free. See [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing).

## Connected data

What Apple Health carries, what a lab panel becomes, and what readiness waits for.

[Apple Health sync Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/apple-health)

### Does POWR sync with Apple Health?

Yes. Workouts, heart, sleep, movement, and body measurements flow in from HealthKit, and POWR writes your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight back, so your existing setup keeps working.

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. POWR works on iPhone on its own. If you have a watch there is a POWR watch app, and any other app writing to HealthKit still reaches POWR. Nothing is double-entered.

### What does the POWR Apple Watch app do?

Start and record a workout from the wrist, log a meal, water, a nap, or a check-in, and see the day and your readiness at a glance. Three complications keep readiness, fuel, and hydration on the watch face. Anything you record there lands in the same diary as the phone.

### What does POWR write back to Apple Health?

Four things: the workouts you record in POWR with their route and heart rate, nutrition from the meals you log, water, and weight. Each one is a separate permission you grant, and an ungranted type is skipped rather than nagged about.

### Will I have to log workouts twice?

No. If the workout is already in Apple Health, POWR can read it. You do not retype a session another app already saved.

### Is my health data private?

Your data is yours. It is not sold or used for ads. You can revoke Health access in iOS Settings at any time.

[Bloodwork Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/bloodwork)

### How do I track bloodwork on iPhone?

In POWR, open Bloodwork and upload the PDF your lab gave you, or a photo of the printed panel. POWR transcribes every row into a draft. Nothing saves until you confirm. You can also type a single marker by hand.

### How many biomarkers does POWR track?

93, across eight categories: lipids, metabolic, CBC, CMP, thyroid, hormones, vitamins and minerals, and inflammation.

### Does POWR invent its own "normal" lab ranges?

No. POWR uses the reference range printed on your lab report, because that is the range your clinician ordered against for that draw. Shipping our own normal table would invent a different normal than your report, so we do not adjust ranges for age or sex and we do not diagnose.

### Is reading a lab PDF free?

Uploading bloodwork is available only for POWR Pro users. Users can freely input markers by hand, and browse the catalog, trend lines, and history.

### How far back does bloodwork history go?

Ten years per marker, and it survives a reinstall.

### What if I upload the same panel twice?

Uploading the same panel twice stays one entry.

### Can I correct a value POWR read wrong?

Yes. After a panel is saved, you can edit a row. Before you save, you can map a row POWR did not recognize to the right marker, or exclude a row you do not want.

### What happens to the document I upload?

It is sent to our AI provider to be transcribed, as printed. Anything identifying on the page goes with it. The patient name is never stored. Your results and the lab's name are stored encrypted, and the copy on your phone is deleted as soon as the upload finishes.

[Recovery and sleep Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/recovery)

### What does readiness tell me?

It gives context about recent recovery-related readings using your own history. It is an estimate, not a diagnosis or clearance to train.

### Why can the reading be unavailable?

There may not be enough recent information. Check your device and Apple Health permissions. Missing information should not be read as a low score.

### Does POWR know when I am getting sick?

No. It can help you notice changes in readings, but it cannot diagnose illness or establish what caused a change.

### Does my ECG leave the phone?

No. ECG samples, beat-to-beat intervals, one-minute heart-rate recovery, and sleeping breathing disturbances remain on-device.

### What happens to my cycle data?

The cycle log you keep inside POWR stays on the phone unless you enable the separate cycle-sync setting. See [your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data).

## Training

Recording, the sessions POWR finds on its own, and where a plan comes from.

[Workout tracking Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/workout-tracking)

### How many exercises are there?

1,474 catalogue entries: 1,250 movements and 224 activities you can record live. Every one is enabled, carries a plain-language description, and carries search synonyms so a partial name finds it. 1,242 name their equipment across 26 kinds, and 232 need none at all.

### What does it record for a run versus a lift?

The activity decides the screen. A run gets a map, kilometre splits, barometric climb, pace, and live heart rate with zones. A lift gets a set logger with derived rest, superset handling, PR badges, and a plate calculator. A swim gets a pool timer. Everything else gets a clock.

### Does it work with the screen off?

Yes. GPS keeps running locked, the rest timer is anchored to a wall clock so it keeps ticking without the app pushing to it, and the Dynamic Island carries your elapsed time, distance, pace, and heart rate. When you are mid-lift it becomes a rest countdown.

### What happens if the app crashes at minute eighty-five?

POWR saves workout progress and can offer to resume, save, or discard an interrupted session when you return.

### Does the debrief make up numbers?

The debrief uses your recorded workout information, but AI responses can contain errors. Verify important details against the session. See [the coach](https://powrhealth.com/ai-coach).

### Is any of this Pro?

Recording, the whole catalogue, and your strength history cost nothing. Only the post-workout debrief and the builder's AI door are Pro, and the debrief also needs AI turned on.

[Workout detection Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/workout-detection)

### Do I have to turn detection on?

Detection is available from the start and runs on your iPhone. Nothing detected is saved as a workout until you confirm it.

### Does it work when the app is closed?

POWR can use background updates from Apple Health. Availability depends on your device, permissions, and the data recorded.

### Will it log something I did not do?

Suggestions can be wrong, but nothing becomes a logged workout without your confirmation. Correct or dismiss the suggestion.

### Does detection replace recording?

No. It cannot recreate GPS routes, splits, or individual sets that were not recorded.

### Does it detect my sleep too?

No. Sleep is read from Apple Health. See [recovery and sleep](https://powrhealth.com/recovery).

[Training plans Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans)

### Can I build a plan with AI?

Yes, on Pro you can discuss a goal, review a multi-week training plan, and request changes. Review the schedule before you begin.

### How long is a plan?

It depends on the goal, schedule, and available time. Review the proposed phases and sessions before accepting.

### What if my race is too soon?

POWR can flag when it cannot support the requested schedule. Discuss event readiness with a qualified professional rather than treating an app plan as clearance.

### Can I change the plan after it starts?

Yes. Request a change in words and review the proposal before accepting it.

### Can I plan around an injury?

You can record areas to avoid loading or to treat cautiously. This is not rehabilitation advice; ask a qualified clinician about exercise with pain or injury.

### Does the plan change my nutrition targets?

Targets can change with your training phase. They remain estimates. See [calorie targets](https://powrhealth.com/calorie-targets).

## Your data

Consent, storage, encryption, and account controls.

[Your data Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/your-data)

### What exactly does the AI switch turn off?

Everything that leaves POWR for POWR's own AI providers: photo and label scanning, describing a meal in words, chat, your daily briefing, food verdicts, ingredient explanations, workout breakdowns, reading a lab document, and building or adapting a plan. Barcode scanning, manual logging, and everything already in your history keep working with it off. An AI assistant you connect yourself, such as ChatGPT or Grok, has its own separate approval and its own off switch.

### Is AI on or off when I install POWR?

You switch it on during onboarding, on a screen that tells you what it does before you continue. One screen in Settings turns it back off, and everything already logged keeps working without it.

### Who are the AI providers?

Anthropic, through its Claude models, runs most AI features: photo and description analysis, chat, briefings, lab-document transcription, and plans. Google, through Gemini on Vertex AI, runs voice meal logging, the one-line summaries on health category pages, and the coach's memory of past conversations. Neither may train its models on your data.

### What happens to a lab report I upload?

It is sent to the AI provider as you supplied it, so it can be transcribed. If it prints your name, date of birth, or record number, that goes with it. The patient name is never stored, your results and the lab's name are encrypted at rest, and the copy on your phone is deleted once the upload finishes. See [bloodwork](https://powrhealth.com/bloodwork).

### Is my data encrypted?

Health data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and in transit using TLS. POWR holds the encryption key, so this is not end-to-end encryption.

### What does "HIPAA-aligned" mean here?

It means the practices, not the status. POWR is a consumer wellness app. It is not a covered entity or a business associate under HIPAA, and it is not offered on behalf of any doctor or health plan, so HIPAA does not apply to your data in POWR and nothing here is HIPAA compliance in the legal sense. State consumer health data laws and the [privacy policy](https://powrhealth.com/privacy) still protect it. What POWR adopts voluntarily is the security half: health data encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, audit logging of access and modification, access controls and authentication, encryption-failure monitoring, and complete deletion when you remove your account. The privacy policy covers this in section 9.6.

### Can ChatGPT or Grok read my POWR data?

Only if you connect one and approve it on POWR's consent screen, where you pick the categories it may read: recovery and sleep, training, food log and nutrition, body metrics, and your plan. It can read but never change anything, and it never sees cycle data, lab results, clinical records, progress photos, or your coach chats. Once it has the data, OpenAI or xAI handles it under its own privacy policy, not POWR's. Disconnect anytime in Settings → Health connections → Connected agents. The [privacy policy](https://powrhealth.com/privacy#ai-assistants) has the details.

### Do you track me or collect crash reports?

App analytics and crash reporting require your consent and are off until you enable them. They are limited to product usage and diagnostic information, not the contents of your health diary.

### How many notifications will I get, and can a stranger read them?

At most six a day that are not safety messages, at least three hours apart, and none between 21:00 and 07:00 unless you change those hours. Every notification is written twice, and the version without your figures is the one that ships unless you turn health details on — headline included, because the first line is the one a bystander reads.

## Pricing and support

What Free includes, what Pro adds, and how to get help.

[Pricing Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/pricing)

### Is there a free trial?

No. The free tier is the trial. If POWR's free experience doesn't earn the upgrade, we shouldn't be charging you for the option.

### How do I cancel?

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, then POWR Pro. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep Pro until then.

### How do refunds work?

All payments run through Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple too. The fastest path is [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com), or in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions, POWR Pro, Report a Problem.

### Does Family Sharing work?

Yes. POWR Pro is enabled for Family Sharing through the App Store.

### What happens if I downgrade?

The AI features switch off and the app returns to the Free tier: barcode, search, and manual entry. None of your nutrition history or foods are deleted.

### Why a subscription, not a one-time purchase?

The expensive part of POWR is the AI cost on our side, and it recurs every time someone logs. A subscription is the honest way to charge for that. Annual brings the cost down for people who want to commit, without locking you in long-term.

[Support Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/support)

### How do I track my meals?

Open the home screen menu and choose "Log Food." From there you can scan a meal, scan a barcode, or use manual entry depending on what you are logging.

### How do I add a blood test?

Open Bloodwork and upload the PDF or a photo of the printed panel. POWR transcribes every row and you review each one before it saves. You can also type a single marker in by hand. See [how it works](https://powrhealth.com/bloodwork).

### How do I connect Apple Health?

Grant access when POWR asks, or turn it on later in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Health, POWR. Workouts, heart, sleep, movement, and body data flow in, and your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight flow back. See [how the sync works](https://powrhealth.com/apple-health).

### Is my health data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM, in transit using TLS, and protected with HIPAA-aligned security practices. We never sell your personal information. Read our [privacy policy](https://powrhealth.com/privacy) for full details.

### How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings, Account, Delete Account. This starts the deletion workflow immediately and removes your account data from active systems after required cleanup completes. For a data export first, contact support at [support@powrhealth.com](mailto:support@powrhealth.com).

### Do you offer a premium subscription?

POWR offers free and premium tiers. Free covers unlimited barcode, search, and manual logging with full nutrition detail. POWR Pro adds the AI: photo logging, chat, insights, the coach's read on each meal, and periodized training plans. See [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing) for the full grid.

### Is POWR available on Android?

Not today. POWR is iPhone-only, because it is built around HealthKit. Android is roadmap, not a live feature, and we will not list it as one.

### Which devices does POWR work with?

iPhone, and an Apple Watch if you have one. The watch app records workouts and logs meals, water, naps, and check-ins. Anything else that writes workouts, heart, sleep, movement, body, or cycle data to Apple Health reaches POWR through HealthKit, with your permission per type.

### Does POWR test products or give medical advice?

Neither. POWR is a wellness app, not a product-testing laboratory or a medical service. [Our approach](https://powrhealth.com/our-approach) explains our evidence standards and limitations.

### How do I report a bug?

Email support@powrhealth.com with a description of the issue, your device model, and iOS version. Screenshots or screen recordings help.

## Switching from another app

What Apple Health carries across, what does not come with you, and what is specific to the app you are leaving.

[Moving to POWR Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch)

### Can I import my food log from another app?

No. POWR has no importer for a MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, or MacroFactor export, and it does not read nutrition out of Apple Health either — nutrition is a category POWR writes to Health, never reads from it. Your POWR diary starts on the day you install it.

### So what does come across?

Workouts, sleep, heart data, movement, and body measurements, through Apple Health, as far back as Health kept them. That is read-only and permission by permission: an ungranted type is skipped rather than nagged about.

### Do I have to stop using my old app?

No. HealthKit is a shared ledger and POWR is one more reader of it. If you keep another app writing workouts or sleep to Health, POWR reads those too. Run both for a fortnight if you want to.

### How long until POWR is telling me something useful?

Your diary starts with your first entry. Connected history can provide context, while adaptive features may need more of your own records. Timing depends on the data available.

### What if I switch back?

POWR writes your workouts, nutrition, water, and weight to Apple Health as you go, so what you logged here is in the shared ledger rather than only in POWR. Deleting the app does not take that with it.

[From MyFitnessPal Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/myfitnesspal)

### Can I import my MyFitnessPal export?

No. POWR has no importer, and it does not read nutrition out of Apple Health either — nutrition is a category POWR writes to Health rather than reads from it. Your workouts, sleep, heart, and weight history do come across through Health. Your food log does not. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) covers it in full.

### Do I lose my weight history too?

If those weigh-ins are in Apple Health and you grant access, POWR can read them. History stored only in the previous app does not transfer. Your food diary starts fresh in POWR.

### Are micronutrients really on the free tier?

Yes. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient-level data are on every entry, free. What POWR Pro adds is the AI: photo logging, chat, daily insights, and the coach's read on a meal.

### Is the food database as big?

No. MyFitnessPal's crowd-sourced catalogue is far larger and POWR does not match it. POWR covers barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, and saved meals, and photo logging on Pro is there for the plate that no database was ever going to have.

### Does POWR have ads?

No. There are no ads on either tier. App analytics and crash reporting require consent and remain off unless enabled. See [your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data) for the controls.

[From Lose It Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/lose-it)

### Is there an Android version?

No. POWR is iPhone only, so if you are logging on Android this is not a switch you can make today. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

### Do I lose my weight history?

If those weigh-ins are in Apple Health and you grant access, POWR can read them. History stored only in the previous app does not transfer. Your food diary starts fresh in POWR.

### Can I import my food log?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight all come across through Health. The diary does not. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) has the full accounting.

### Is the food database as big?

No. The large calorie-counter catalogues are bigger and POWR does not match them. POWR covers barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, and saved meals, holds micronutrients on every free entry, and adds photo logging on Pro for the plate no database was ever going to have.

### Does POWR do streaks and badges?

No. There is no streak counter and no badge shelf, and notifications are deliberately restrained — [restraint as a mechanism](https://powrhealth.com/your-data) rather than a promise. If a streak is the thing that keeps you logging, that is a real reason to stay where you are.

[From Cronometer or MacroFactor Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/cronometer)

### I searched for a MacroFactor alternative and landed here. Why?

This migration page covers the shared boundary: POWR does not import either food diary. For feature differences, use [POWR versus MacroFactor](https://powrhealth.com/compare/macrofactor); for the move itself, check which records are already available in Apple Health.

### Can I import my Cronometer export?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight all come across through Health. The diary starts on install day. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) has the full accounting.

### Is the nutrient database as good?

No. Cronometer's verified database is the deepest in the category and it is why people use it. POWR covers barcode, search, manual entry, and saved meals, holds micronutrients on every free entry, and adds photo logging on Pro for the food no database has.

### Does the free tier really include micronutrients?

Yes. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient data are on every entry, free, along with adaptive calorie and macro targets recalculated weekly. POWR Pro is the AI: photo logging, chat, daily insights, and the coach's read.

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

No. Apple Health brings workouts, heart, sleep, and weight in when they exist, from whatever wrote them. The phone is enough to log food.

### How do I cancel Pro?

On iPhone: Settings, your Apple ID, Subscriptions, POWR Pro. You keep Pro until the end of the current period.

[From Carbon Diet Coach Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/carbon-diet-coach)

### Is there a human coach?

No. POWR provides software guidance, not a human check-in coach. AI responses can contain errors, so check important details and do not use them for medical decisions.

### How does POWR decide my calorie target?

POWR can adapt calorie and macro targets using your food logs, weight history, and goals. These remain estimates, not direct measurements of metabolism.

### Can I import my log or my check-in history?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) has the full accounting.

### Is there an Android app?

No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

### How do I cancel Pro?

On iPhone: Settings, your Apple ID, Subscriptions, POWR Pro. You keep Pro until the end of the current period.

[From Yazio Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/yazio)

### Does POWR have recipes?

Not a library of them. POWR can [scan a recipe from social](https://powrhealth.com/recipe-scan) and save it, you can save a meal you have logged and reuse it, and Plan my week is its meal planner. What it does not have is a browsable recipe library, a meal-plan library, or guided diet programs.

### Does POWR have a fasting timer?

No. There is no fasting timer and no fasting protocol in the app.

### Can I import my food log?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) has the full accounting.

### Are micronutrients really on the free tier?

Yes. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient-level data are on every entry, free, along with adaptive calorie and macro targets. POWR Pro is the AI: photo logging, chat, insights, and the coach's read.

### Is there an Android app?

No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

[From Lifesum Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/lifesum)

### So does POWR rate my food or not?

POWR does not display a food grade. On Pro, the coach discusses your meal in language, alongside its nutrition information.

### Where can I read about POWR's approach?

Read [Our approach](https://powrhealth.com/our-approach) for evidence standards, uncertainty, and corrections. The [learning library](https://powrhealth.com/learn) answers general nutrition and activity questions with linked sources.

### Does POWR have diet or lifestyle plans?

POWR has Plan my week, its meal planner, but no browsable diet or lifestyle-plan library and no guided diet programs. Structured training plans are a separate Pro feature.

### Can I import my food log?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health.

### Is there an Android app?

No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

[From Cal AI Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/cal-ai)

### Is POWR's photo logging free?

No. Photo logging, chat, insights, and the coach's read are POWR Pro. Barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, and the full nutrition breakdown on every entry are free and unmetered. [Pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing) has every row of it.

### Can I move my scan history over?

No. POWR has no importer, and it does not read nutrition out of Apple Health — nutrition is a category POWR writes to Health rather than reads from it. Your diary starts on install day. [What moves and what does not](https://powrhealth.com/switch) covers the rest.

### Does POWR just guess from the photo like everything else?

It estimates from the images and information you provide. Photos can miss ingredients and portions, so POWR shows an editable draft before saving. Review it rather than treating the result as a measured calorie count.

### I only want a calorie number. Is POWR overkill?

Probably. If a single number under a photograph is the whole job, a scanner does that with less app around it. POWR is built for the person who wants to know what was in the food, not only how much of it there was.

### Is there an Android app?

No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

[From SnapCalorie Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/snapcalorie)

### Which one is more accurate?

This page will not claim it. Both apps estimate from a photograph, published accuracy figures are measured on different data and different plates, and none of them tells you anything about your dinner. What POWR commits to is narrower: you see the estimate, you can correct it, and nothing counts until you do.

### What happens when it gets a meal wrong?

You edit it. Items, portions, and totals are all editable in the draft before it saves, and an entry can be re-analysed afterwards. The correction is yours and it sticks.

### Is photo logging free?

No. Photo logging, chat, insights, and the coach's read are POWR Pro. Barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, and the full nutrition breakdown on every entry are free and unmetered.

### Can I import my history?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health.

### Is there an Android app?

No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.

[From Bevel Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/bevel)

### Do I lose anything by switching?

No data. Both apps read the same HealthKit ledger, so POWR reads exactly the history you already have. This is the one migration where nothing has to move, because nothing was ever locked up.

### Can I run both?

Yes. HealthKit is shared and POWR is one more reader of it. Nothing POWR does stops another app reading or writing the same types, so running both for a fortnight costs you nothing.

### Is there a food diary?

Yes, and it is the half POWR is built around. Every entry carries calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient data on the free tier. Photo logging and the coach's read on a meal are POWR Pro.

### How is readiness scored?

POWR provides a recovery estimate using your own history. It may be unavailable without enough recent information. See [recovery and sleep](https://powrhealth.com/recovery).

### Do I need an Apple Watch?

For readiness, something has to be measuring your nights. For the food half, the phone is enough on its own.

## Comparisons

Side by side with the apps people weigh POWR against, including the rows POWR loses.

[POWR and MyFitnessPal Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/myfitnesspal)

### What is a MyFitnessPal alternative that also tracks workouts and bloodwork?

POWR is one iPhone option. It combines a food diary with workout recording, periodized training plans, recovery, and 93 bloodwork biomarkers from a reviewed PDF or photo. MyFitnessPal still has the larger food catalogue, and POWR does not claim otherwise.

### Is POWR a MyFitnessPal replacement?

For food logging on iPhone, it can be. POWR includes micronutrient detail on free entries, adaptive targets, workout records, and a Pro coach. Your old food diary does not import; compare the catalogue and platform support before switching.

### Can I move my MyFitnessPal history across?

Not the food log. POWR has no importer and does not read nutrition out of Apple Health — nutrition is a category POWR writes to Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight all come across through Health. [The switch page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/myfitnesspal) has the full accounting.

### Why will this page not tell me what MyFitnessPal costs?

Because it would be wrong eventually and there would be no signal when it became wrong. Prices and tiers move without warning. POWR publishes its own, in full, on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing), and leaves the other side of the comparison to the source that is actually current.

### Does POWR have ads?

No ads on either tier. App analytics and crash reporting remain off unless enabled with consent. See [your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data) for the controls.

[POWR and Cronometer Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/cronometer)

### Does POWR match Cronometer for nutrient depth?

No. Cronometer's verified database is deeper and better sourced. POWR holds calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient-level data on every free entry, which covers most questions, and adds photo logging on Pro for food no database has. If the exact sourced value is what you are after, Cronometer is where it lives.

### What does POWR add that Cronometer does not?

POWR brings meal discussion on Pro together with workout recording, training plans, recovery, and bloodwork. Compare that connected workflow with the nutrient database and reporting you use in Cronometer; check its publisher for current capabilities.

### Can I run both?

Yes. HealthKit is a shared ledger and POWR is one more reader of it. POWR writes nutrition, workouts, water, and weight to Health; if another app is writing workouts or sleep there, POWR reads those too. Nutrition is the one category POWR will not read in, so the two diaries stay separate.

### Where is the score?

POWR does not display a food grade. On Pro, the coach discusses your meal in language, alongside its nutrition information.

[POWR and MacroFactor Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/macrofactor)

### What is a MacroFactor alternative that also tracks labs and workouts?

POWR is one iPhone option when you want food logging, workout recording, periodized plans, recovery, and 93 bloodwork biomarkers in the same app. It does not have MacroFactor's adaptive expenditure model. POWR can adapt calorie targets using your records, but does not reproduce another app’s results.

### Does POWR have adaptive expenditure like MacroFactor?

POWR can adapt calorie and macro targets using your food logs, weight history, and goals. These remain estimates, not direct measurements of metabolism.

### Why would I want an app that judges my food?

You may prefer a diary without commentary. POWR Pro can discuss the ingredients and nutrition in a logged meal in language, without displaying a food grade. AI guidance can be wrong; our approach page explains its limits.

### Is the read on by default?

It requires POWR Pro and it requires AI consent, which is a switch you control. With the switch off there is no AI anywhere in the app and the deterministic half — barcode, search, manual entry, nutrition breakdown, calorie targets — still works. [The switch and what it covers.](https://powrhealth.com/your-data)

### Can I import my MacroFactor log?

No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health. [The switch page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/cronometer) covers both apps.

[POWR and Cal AI Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/cal-ai)

### What is a Cal AI alternative that also builds workouts?

POWR is one iPhone option. Its Pro plan combines editable AI food logging with workout building, periodized training plans, recovery, and coach chat. POWR has no free AI scans or trial, so choose it for the connected product rather than for a free camera allowance.

### Can I try POWR's photo logging for free?

No. There is no free AI allowance and no trial, so photo logging, chat, insights, and the coach's read all require POWR Pro. The free tier is the deterministic half: barcode, search, manual entry, the full nutrition breakdown on every entry, and adaptive calorie and macro targets. [Pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing) states it plainly.

### Which app's photo estimate is more accurate?

This page will not claim it. Both apps estimate from a photograph, any published accuracy figures are measured on different data and different plates, and none of them tells you anything about your dinner. What POWR commits to is narrower and checkable: you see the estimate, you can correct every part of it, and nothing counts until you do.

### What does POWR do with the photo afterwards?

It produces an editable draft you review, and the meal is written to Apple Health once you save it. Health data is encrypted at rest, never sold, and the AI consent switch gates every model call. [The switch, the boundary, and the audit trail.](https://powrhealth.com/your-data)

### Is POWR just a calorie counter with more screens?

It is a food diary with the nutrition breakdown on every free entry, plus recovery, training plans, workout detection, and bloodwork on the same ledger. Whether that is more app than you want is a fair question, and if a single number under a photograph is the job, the answer is probably yes.

[POWR and Fitbod Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/fitbod)

### Is POWR a Fitbod alternative?

Yes, on iPhone, if you want strength logging and periodized plans connected to food, recovery, Apple Health, bloodwork, and coach chat. Fitbod remains the more specialized choice for personalized strength-workout recommendations.

### What is a cheaper Fitbod alternative with nutrition tracking?

POWR is one option, but check both current prices before deciding. POWR publishes its own price on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing) and combines lifting, nutrition, recovery, labs, and AI workflows on the same Pro plan.

### Does POWR generate workouts like Fitbod?

POWR Pro builds deterministic multi-week plans with goal-specific phases, progression, and deloads. Fitbod specializes in generating the next personalized strength workout from training history, muscle recovery, goals, equipment, and preferences. They are different planning models.

### Can POWR track sets, reps, rest, and personal records?

Yes. POWR tracks reps, load, timed and distance movements, supersets, derived rest, reps in reserve, previous schemes, and personal records. Workout recording is free.

### Can I use Fitbod workouts with POWR?

Yes, when Fitbod writes compatible workouts to Apple Health and you grant POWR access. POWR can read the shared workout into its day, although Fitbod's internal recommendation state remains in Fitbod.

[POWR and Hevy Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/hevy)

### Is POWR a Hevy alternative?

Yes, for set logging on iPhone, especially if you also want nutrition, periodized plans, recovery, bloodwork, and coach chat. No, if Hevy's social feed, cross-platform access, or community routines are the reason you use it.

### What is a Hevy alternative with nutrition and recovery?

POWR combines a strength logger with food, calorie and macro targets, sleep, readiness, muscle recovery, Apple Health, and bloodwork on iPhone.

### Does POWR have a social workout feed?

No. POWR has no public workout feed, clubs, or follower graph. Hevy is the better choice when social training is a core requirement.

### Can POWR build a strength plan as well as log one?

Yes, on POWR Pro. The training planner builds strength PR and hypertrophy blocks with phases, progression, and deloads. Workout recording itself is free.

### Can Hevy and POWR work together through Apple Health?

Yes, when Hevy writes a compatible workout to Apple Health and you grant POWR access. POWR can read the workout into its daily record while Hevy keeps its own routine and community features.

[POWR and Bevel Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/bevel)

### Is POWR a Bevel alternative?

Yes. Both cover nutrition, training, recovery, and health information. Compare the logging experience, supported connections, planning workflow, and current pricing rather than assuming one app lacks entire categories.

### What is the difference between POWR and Bevel?

Bevel centers recovery, strain, sleep, stress, and Energy Bank, with nutrition, plans, strength, and health records now in the same product. POWR centers one explainable record across food, workout recording, structured plans, recovery, and labs. The category lists overlap more than they differ.

### Which is better for recovery, POWR or Bevel?

Bevel is the more recovery-first product and is the safer choice when that is the main job. POWR is the broader choice when recovery needs to sit beside a detailed food diary, adaptive calorie estimates, periodized training, and a reviewed bloodwork workflow.

### Can I move from Bevel to POWR through Apple Health?

Much of the underlying workout, sleep, heart, movement, weight, and body data can already be in Apple Health for POWR to read. Nutrition is different: POWR does not read it from Health and has no importer, so the food diary starts over. [The Bevel switch page](https://powrhealth.com/switch/bevel) has the full accounting.

### Which app is cheaper, POWR or Bevel?

Check Bevel's current pricing and compare it with [POWR's published price](https://powrhealth.com/pricing). This page does not quote a competitor tier because price and included features can change without warning.

[POWR and Athlytic Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/compare/athlytic)

### Is POWR an Athlytic alternative?

Yes, if you want Apple Health recovery connected to food, adaptive targets, workout recording, periodized plans, bloodwork, and coach chat. Athlytic is the stronger specialist when recovery, exertion, Watch surfaces, and all-on-device processing are the main requirements.

### What is an Athlytic alternative with nutrition tracking?

POWR combines sleep and readiness with a complete food diary, macros, micronutrients, ingredients, hydration, adaptive calorie targets, workouts, plans, and bloodwork on iPhone.

### Which is better for Apple Watch recovery, POWR or Athlytic?

Athlytic is the recovery-first choice, with Recovery, Exertion, target exertion, live workouts, and extensive Watch widgets. POWR is the broader choice when recovery needs to share a record with nutrition, plans, labs, and coach chat.

### Does POWR calculate health data on device?

Some heart and recovery displays have no server path and are computed on the iPhone. POWR also uses encrypted sync, and its optional AI features use model services only after consent. Athlytic describes its whole calculation model as on-device.

### Can I use Athlytic and POWR together?

Yes. Both can read granted Apple Health data. You can keep Athlytic for its recovery and Watch surfaces while using POWR for food, targets, training plans, bloodwork, and coach chat.

## Questions people ask before they know POWR

Unbranded questions about goals, Apple Watch, price, app consolidation, recipe scanning, workout building, coaching, and lab PDFs.

[Scan a social recipe Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/how-do-i-scan-an-instagram-or-tiktok-recipe-into-my-food-log)

### How do I scan an Instagram or TikTok recipe into my food log?

On iPhone, share the post, reel, link, or screenshot to POWR. POWR reads the recipe, builds ingredients and per-serving nutrition for you to review, and saves it to your library. It does not mark the recipe as eaten. When you make it, choose how many servings you ate and log that amount.

### What apps scan social media recipes into a calorie tracker?

POWR is one iPhone option. Share a public recipe link, post, reel, screenshot, photo, or text to POWR. It creates an editable recipe with ingredients and per-serving nutrition, saves it to your library, and lets you log a serving when you actually eat it.

### Can I scan a recipe from Instagram or TikTok into a food log?

Yes. On iPhone, share the public post, reel, link, or a screenshot to POWR. Review the ingredients, servings, and nutrition, then save the recipe and log the amount you eat later.

### How do I scan a recipe from social media and save it?

Open the iPhone share sheet from the social app and choose POWR. Review the editable recipe POWR creates, then save it to your library. If the link is private or login-walled, share a screenshot instead.

### Does sharing a recipe immediately add it to my food diary?

No. A share is food you may eat later, so POWR saves it to your library. Open the saved recipe when you eat it, choose the servings you ate, and log that amount. The diary remains a record of food you actually ate.

### What if POWR cannot read the Instagram or TikTok link?

Share a screenshot of the recipe or caption instead. Private and login-walled posts may not expose any useful text to a public link, while the screenshot follows the same image-analysis path as a meal photo.

### Can POWR handle a recipe that makes several servings?

Yes. POWR stores the whole recipe and its yield, shows nutrition per serving, and lets you choose how many servings to log when you eat it.

### Does POWR have a recipe library?

No. POWR saves recipes you share or create, but it does not provide a browsable recipe catalogue or a meal-plan library. Plan my week is a meal planner, not a library or a guided diet program. There is no fasting timer.

### Can a scanned social recipe include micronutrients?

Yes. Once reviewed, a POWR recipe can carry calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals, ingredients, and per-serving nutrition in the same model as another food entry.

### How do I save a TikTok recipe to my food diary on iPhone?

Share the TikTok link or a screenshot to POWR, review the ingredients, servings, and nutrition, then save the recipe. Saving does not add food to your diary. Open the saved recipe and log the servings when you eat it.

### Can I scan an Instagram recipe from a screenshot?

Yes. Share the screenshot to POWR from the iPhone share sheet. POWR reads the visible recipe text and food into an editable draft, which is also the fallback when a private or login-walled post does not expose its caption.

[Upload a lab PDF Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/can-i-upload-a-lab-pdf-to-track-bloodwork-on-iphone)

### Can I upload a lab PDF to track bloodwork on iPhone?

Yes. Upload the PDF your lab gave you, or photograph a printed panel. POWR transcribes the report into 93 tracked biomarkers, shows you every row before anything saves, and keeps the reference ranges printed by your own lab. It tracks the result over time but does not diagnose or interpret it.

### What are the best iPhone apps for tracking lab results from a PDF?

POWR belongs on the shortlist when you want to upload a PDF or photo, review every extracted row, and keep a history across 93 biomarkers. It uses the reference ranges printed by your lab and does not interpret or diagnose the result. Compare any lab tracker on review, marker coverage, unit handling, privacy, and whether it clearly separates tracking from medical advice.

### How do I track bloodwork on iPhone?

In POWR, you can enter supported biomarkers manually for free or use Pro to upload a lab PDF or photo. Review every extracted row before saving, then follow the values over time across a 93-biomarker catalogue.

### How many biomarkers can POWR read from a lab PDF or photo?

POWR tracks 93 biomarkers across lipids, metabolic panels, CBC, CMP, thyroid, hormones, vitamins and minerals, and inflammation. The upload matches the labels on your report to that catalogue.

### Does POWR invent its own normal lab ranges?

No. POWR stores the reference range printed by your own lab. It has no built-in range table and does not adjust a range for age or sex.

### Is uploading a lab document free?

Reading a PDF or photo is a Pro feature and requires AI features to be enabled. Manual marker entry, the biomarker catalogue, trend charts, and history are free. See [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing).

### What makes POWR different from a lab portal?

A portal usually holds results from one provider. POWR lets you add a PDF or photo from a lab, review the transcription, and keep supported markers in one history beside the rest of your health data. It does not replace the original report or the clinician who ordered it.

### Can POWR combine results from different laboratories?

It can store supported results from different reports over time. Trends stay unit-aware, and each result keeps the reference range printed by the lab that produced it.

### Can I photograph a lab report and track the results over time?

Yes. Photograph the printed panel, review the extracted rows, and save the supported values to POWR's history across 93 biomarkers. Each result keeps its date, unit, and the reference range printed by that lab. POWR tracks the values but does not interpret them.

### How do I extract biomarkers from a lab report photo on iPhone?

Choose a clear photo of the report in POWR, review the rows it matched, remap or exclude anything it did not recognize, confirm the draw date, and save. The document reader requires POWR Pro and AI features to be enabled.

[A cheaper AI food logger Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/is-there-a-cheaper-ai-food-logging-app)

No. Food logging is one surface. POWR also covers workouts, periodized plans, recovery and sleep, Apple Health data, bloodwork, daily planning, and AI coach chat in the same iPhone app.

### Which AI food logging app includes unlimited scans?

POWR Pro includes unlimited AI food scans under fair use at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. It also includes multi-photo analysis, coach chat, insights, and periodized training plans on the same subscription.

### Which AI food logging app lets me edit the result before saving?

### What app tracks macros, vitamins, and minerals for free?

POWR includes calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, ingredients, and percentage daily values where a reference exists on every free entry. Barcode scanning, database search, and manual entry are also free; AI photo logging requires Pro.

[An affordable AI workout builder Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/what-is-an-affordable-ai-workout-builder-app)

### What is an affordable AI workout builder app?

POWR is one iPhone option at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. POWR Pro builds workouts and multi-week plans, lets you revise a plan by talking to it, and includes AI food logging and coach chat on the same subscription. Discuss the goal and review the proposed plan before accepting it.

### How much does the POWR workout builder cost?

Periodized training plans and chat revisions are included in POWR Pro at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. The same plan includes AI food logging, AI coach chat, and insights.

### Does an AI model invent the POWR workout plan?

POWR offers AI-assisted planning on Pro. You discuss your goal and review the proposed schedule before accepting. The public product explanation covers this workflow, not the underlying implementation.

### Can POWR change a training plan after it starts?

Yes. You can ask for a change in conversation. POWR turns it into a typed proposal with a scope and rationale, shows it to you, and applies it only after you confirm.

### What app builds a periodized workout plan with deload weeks?

On Pro, POWR builds multi-week training plans with goal-specific phases, progression, and easier weeks. Review the proposed schedule and changes before accepting.

### Can an app adjust my nutrition targets as my training changes?

Yes. In POWR, calorie and macro targets can shift with the phase of an active training plan. Examples include long-run fuel floors, a taper that stops asking for a deficit, and a diet break inside a long cut.

### Which AI workout planner also tracks recovery?

POWR puts periodized training plans beside sleep, readiness, and muscle recovery in the same iPhone app. Recovery is read against your own baseline, and the plan builder and deeper AI features are included in POWR Pro.

### Can I build and revise a workout plan by chatting?

Yes. Describe your goal and constraints in conversation, review the structured request, and let POWR build the plan. Later changes become typed proposals that you review before code applies them.

[A cheaper AI fitness coach Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/is-there-a-cheaper-ai-fitness-coach-app)

### Is there a cheaper AI fitness coach app?

Yes. POWR Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and includes AI coach chat grounded in your own logged data. The same plan includes AI food logging, insights, meal reads, and periodized training plans. If the coaching app you are replacing costs more, POWR is the cheaper option, and it replaces more than the chat window.

### How much does POWR AI coach chat cost?

AI coach chat is included in POWR Pro at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year. The same plan includes AI food logging, insights, meal reads, and periodized training plans.

### Is the POWR coach a human coach?

No. It is software grounded in your own logged data. It is not a clinician, does not provide medical advice, and cannot replace a person who can observe you directly.

### Can the POWR coach invent a number?

The coach uses relevant information from your logs. AI responses can contain errors, so check important details and do not use them for medical decisions.

### Which AI fitness coach uses my own food and workout history?

POWR coach chat can use the request-relevant slice of your meals, nutrition, workouts, plans, recovery, and trends. You do not have to paste that history into a separate chatbot, and AI access remains behind a consent switch.

### Is there an AI nutrition and workout coach in one app?

Yes. POWR combines nutrition, workout recording, periodized plans, recovery, and AI coach chat in one iPhone app. Coach chat and the other AI workflows are included in POWR Pro at $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year.

### Can an AI health coach use data from Apple Health?

POWR reads the Apple Health categories you grant into the same record used by its coaching surfaces. A coach request receives only the context needed for that answer, and no model call occurs unless AI features are enabled.

[Food, workouts, health data, and bloodwork Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/can-one-app-track-food-workouts-health-data-and-bloodwork)

### Can one app track food, workouts, health data, and bloodwork?

Yes. POWR combines food logging, macros and micronutrients, workouts, training plans, sleep, recovery, Apple Health data, body measurements, 93 bloodwork biomarkers, daily planning, and AI coach chat in one iPhone app. Core nutrition tracking is free. POWR Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and adds the AI workflows and periodized plans.

### Is POWR an all-in-one health and fitness app?

Yes, on iPhone. POWR combines nutrition, workouts, plans, sleep, recovery, body data, Apple Health, 93 bloodwork biomarkers, daily planning, and AI coach chat. It is a consumer wellness app, not a medical device.

### Do all POWR features require a paid subscription?

No. Barcode, database search, manual food entry, full nutrition detail, adaptive calorie and macro targets, and other core tracking features are free. POWR Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and adds AI food scans, chat, insights, deeper coach conversation, and periodized training plans.

### Does POWR replace Apple Health?

No. Apple Health remains the shared ledger on iPhone. POWR reads the categories you grant and writes workouts recorded in POWR, nutrition, water, and weight back, so other devices and apps can keep working.

### What app combines Apple Health, food logging, and workout planning?

POWR combines Apple Health data, food logging, workout recording, and multi-week training plans on iPhone. It reads the Health categories you grant and writes workouts recorded in POWR, nutrition, water, and weight back.

### Is there an app that logs food and reads Apple Health in one place?

Yes. POWR logs food through photos, barcodes, search, manual entry, and shared recipes, then places that diary beside the workout, sleep, heart, movement, and body data you allow it to read from Apple Health.

### What app combines recovery tracking with nutrition?

POWR keeps meals, macros, micronutrients, hydration, sleep, readiness, muscle recovery, and training in one iPhone app. Recovery is measured against your own baseline rather than a population average.

### Can one iPhone app replace a calorie app, workout app, and lab portal?

POWR can cover the daily jobs across all three: nutrition logging, workout recording and planning, and reviewed history across 93 bloodwork biomarkers. It does not replace the original lab report, clinical interpretation, or a specialized app you still prefer to keep connected through Apple Health.

### Is there one subscription for AI food logging, workout plans, and coach chat?

Yes. POWR Pro costs $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and includes AI food logging, coach chat, insights, and periodized training plans. These are not separate POWR add-ons.

### What are the best iPhone apps that combine nutrition tracking and workouts?

POWR is one option when you want nutrition, workout recording, periodized plans, recovery, Apple Health data, bloodwork, and coach chat in one iPhone app. Compare products on the depth you need, platform support, data import, current price, and whether you prefer one connected record or specialized apps.

### How do I log macros and micronutrients with workouts on the same day view?

Log food in POWR by photo, barcode, search, manual entry, or a saved recipe. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredients sit in the same daily record as workouts recorded in POWR or read from Apple Health.

[Weight loss Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/what-is-the-best-fitness-and-nutrition-app-for-weight-loss)

### What is the best fitness and nutrition app for weight loss?

There is no single best app for everyone. POWR is one iPhone option if you want food logging, an adaptive calorie target informed by your records, workouts, a structured weight-loss plan, recovery, and coach chat in one record. Core tracking is free. AI meal photos, chat, and periodized plans require POWR Pro.

### What app tracks calories, workouts, and weight loss in one place?

POWR is one iPhone option. It places food, calorie and macro targets, workout recording, structured plans, sleep, recovery, and weight trends in the same daily record.

### Can a calorie app adjust my target from my actual weight loss?

POWR can adapt calorie and macro targets using your food logs, weight history, and goals. These remain estimates, not direct measurements of metabolism.

### Is POWR free for weight loss tracking?

The core tracking is free: barcode, search, manual food entry, nutrition detail, workout recording, and adaptive calorie and macro targets. Photo logging, coach chat, insights, and periodized plans require POWR Pro.

### Does POWR build a weight-loss workout plan?

Yes, on POWR Pro. Review a multi-week plan and its proposed schedule. Nutrition targets can also change with the training phase.

### Can I use POWR for fat loss and strength training together?

Yes. You can log strength sessions while following calorie and macro targets, or use a structured plan that coordinates training and nutrition. Results are not guaranteed, and the app is not medical care.

### What is the best nutrition and workout app for strength training?

The best choice depends on whether you need the deepest lifting community or one connected training and nutrition record. POWR combines a free set logger, personal records, macros and micronutrients, sleep and recovery, and Pro periodized strength plans on iPhone. It is for someone who wants lifting and food to inform the same day, not someone who wants a social network around the gym log.

### What app tracks lifting and macros together?

POWR combines a set logger with calories, macros, micronutrients, ingredients, hydration, body trends, sleep, and recovery on iPhone.

### Which strength training app also builds meal targets?

POWR calculates calorie and macro targets and can move them with the phase of an active training plan. It tracks food rather than prescribing a fixed meal menu.

### Can POWR track progressive overload?

POWR keeps set and lift history, pre-fills the previous scheme, estimates 1RM within its stated rep range, and marks new records. Its periodized plans also prescribe progression by phase.

### Does POWR have bodybuilding and powerlifting plans?

On Pro, POWR builds multi-week training plans with goal-specific phases, progression, and easier weeks. Review the proposed schedule and changes before accepting.

### Can I log strength workouts on Apple Watch?

POWR has an Apple Watch app for recording workouts and quick logging. The iPhone workout screen carries the full set logger, movement catalogue, rest logic, history, and plate calculator.

### What app combines running plans, nutrition, and recovery?

POWR is one iPhone option. It records routes, kilometre splits, pace, barometric climb, and heart rate; builds periodized 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon plans on Pro; shifts nutrition targets with the training phase; and keeps sleep and recovery beside the plan. It is not a route-discovery network or a substitute for a running coach.

### Is there a marathon training app with nutrition tracking?

Yes. POWR Pro can build a sixteen-week marathon plan with base, build, peak, and taper phases, while POWR also tracks food, hydration, macros, micronutrients, sleep, and recovery.

### What app tracks running, food, and sleep together?

POWR places recorded runs, routes, splits, food, hydration, sleep, readiness, and body trends in the same iPhone record.

### Can a running app change nutrition targets during taper?

POWR can shift calorie and macro targets with the phase of an active plan. Its running strategy includes a long-run fuel floor and a taper that stops asking for a deficit.

### Does POWR make 5K and half-marathon plans?

Yes, on POWR Pro. The minimum structures are eight weeks for 5K, ten for 10K, twelve for a half marathon, and sixteen for a marathon.

### Do I need an Apple Watch to track a run in POWR?

No. POWR can record a run on iPhone with GPS, pace, splits, and barometric climb. A compatible watch can add heart-rate and other Health data, but it is optional.

### What is the best all-in-one fitness app for Apple Watch?

There is no universal best Apple Watch app. POWR fits someone who wants Watch workout recording and quick logging connected to iPhone nutrition, periodized plans, sleep, recovery, body data, and bloodwork. It reads compatible data that other apps and devices write to Apple Health, so choosing POWR does not require replacing every Watch app you already use.

### What Apple Watch app combines nutrition and workout tracking?

POWR combines Watch workout recording and quick logging with a full iPhone food diary, workout history, plans, sleep, recovery, body data, and coach chat.

### Can POWR use workouts from another Apple Watch app?

Yes, when the other app writes a compatible workout to Apple Health and you grant POWR access. POWR reads the shared workout instead of asking you to enter it again.

### Does POWR write workouts back to Apple Health?

Yes. Workouts recorded in POWR can be written to Apple Health with route and heart-rate samples when those exist, and they are stamped so POWR does not import its own write as a duplicate.

### Can I use POWR without an Apple Watch?

Yes. POWR works on iPhone by itself. A Watch adds a wrist app and can contribute sensor data, but it is not required for food logging, plans, bloodwork, or iPhone workout recording.

### Does POWR support Wear OS or Android watches?

No. POWR currently runs on iPhone and Apple Watch. Android and Wear OS are not released platforms.

[Replace an app stack Read the page](https://powrhealth.com/answers/can-one-app-replace-my-calorie-workout-and-recovery-apps)

### Can one app replace my calorie, workout, and recovery apps?

Yes, if the jobs you need are food logging, calorie and macro targets, workout recording, periodized plans, sleep and recovery, Apple Health data, bloodwork, and AI coach chat on iPhone. POWR covers those in one app and one Pro subscription for the AI features. It will not import an old food diary, replace medical care, or match every specialist app on its deepest feature.

### Can POWR replace MyFitnessPal, Fitbod, and a recovery app?

It can replace the core jobs if you need food logging, targets, workout recording, periodized plans, sleep, and recovery on iPhone. It will not match MyFitnessPal's catalogue size, every specialist workout recommendation, or every recovery widget. Compare the job you use, not only the app name.

### Will my old fitness data move into POWR?

Compatible workouts, routes, sleep, heart, movement, weight, and body data can arrive through Apple Health. Old food history does not move because POWR has no importer and does not read nutrition from Health.

### Can I keep another workout app and use POWR for everything else?

Yes. If the workout app writes compatible sessions to Apple Health, POWR can read them into the shared day while handling food, targets, recovery, bloodwork, and coach surfaces.

### Is one all-in-one fitness subscription cheaper than several apps?

It can be, but compare the current total yourself. POWR Pro is $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year and includes its AI food logging, coach chat, insights, and periodized plans. Prices and included features in other apps can change.

### What should I check before replacing several health apps?

Check platform support, the food and exercise catalogues, Health read and write directions, historical imports, free and paid boundaries, privacy, the specialist features you use weekly, and how cancellation affects access to your data.
