# Plan my week is the meal planner. Training plans are for workouts.

In POWR, Plan my week means the meal planner in Plans → Meals. It fills the week from saved meals and meal templates. It is not the training planner on [training plans](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans). Recipe scan is how a recipe from Instagram, TikTok, or another social feed can be saved to the food log without rebuilding every ingredient.

## One Plans screen, two different jobs

The Meals lens plans food. The training planner organizes workouts. Sharing the Plans screen does not make them the same tool.

Plan my week always refers to the meal planner. Periodized workout planning stays on [training plans](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans).
| POWR tool | What it fills | Where it lives |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Plan my week | A week of meals filled from saved meals and meal templates. | Plans → Meals |
| Training plans | A periodized block of workouts, with phases such as base, build, peak, and taper. | [Training plans](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans) |

## Scan a recipe and keep it

When you find a recipe on social, POWR can scan it and save it into the food log. That is scan-and-save. It is one way to keep food you may want to reuse; it is not a public recipe catalog.

From social

Scan a recipe from Instagram, TikTok, or another social feed and save it into POWR.

From saved meals

Plan my week fills meal slots from meals and meal templates you have saved.

For daily logging

Use a photo, barcode, or words through [nutrition tracking](https://powrhealth.com/nutrition-tracking) and [photo meal logging](https://powrhealth.com/photo-meal-logging).

## Where the line is

Plan my week is a meal planner, not a library or diet program. Coming from an app built around those features? See [switching from Yazio](https://powrhealth.com/switch/yazio). Free and Pro detail stays on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing).

- There is no browsable recipe library.
- There is no meal-plan library or guided diet program.
- There is no fasting timer or fasting protocol.
- Photo, barcode, or words still handle everyday logging.
- Wearables shelf stays Apple Health until another adapter is signed live.
- Share-into-app (share sheet) is not signed live. Scan-and-save from social is the live path.

## FAQ

### What is Plan my week?

Plan my week is POWR's meal planner. Open Plans and choose the Meals lens; it fills a week of meal slots from saved meals and meal templates. It does not build a workout week.

### Is Plan my week the same as training plans?

No. Plan my week fills meal slots in Plans → Meals. [Training plans](https://powrhealth.com/training-plans) is POWR's separate training planner for blocks such as base, build, peak, and taper.

### Can POWR scan a recipe from Instagram or TikTok?

Yes. POWR can scan a recipe you found on social media and save it into the food log. That is scan-and-save, not a recipe library.

### Does POWR have a recipe library?

No. POWR has no browsable recipe library and no meal-plan library. It can scan a recipe from social and save it, reuse a meal you already logged, and plan meals with Plan my week. That planner is not a library or a guided diet program.

### Is scan-and-save the same as Share Extension / share-into-app?

No. Scan-and-save from social is live. Share-into-app stays unsigned until Product signs that a user can actually share into the app.

### Does POWR have a fasting timer?

No. There is no fasting timer and no fasting protocol in POWR.

### Can I import a recipe from a website or PDF?

Scan-and-save is built for recipes you find on social. Everyday meals still go through photo, barcode, or words. There is no separate recipe-import library.

### What happens after I save a scanned recipe?

It lands in your food log like any other meal you logged, with calories, macros, micros, and ingredients. It then sits beside workouts, sleep, and the rest of the day in one system.

### Is this a meal-plan app?

POWR has a meal planner called Plan my week in Plans → Meals. It fills the week from saved meals and meal templates. It does not ship a meal-plan library or guided diet programs. It also logs food, including recipes you scanned from social, and connects that log to the rest of your health picture.

### Do I need Pro to scan a recipe from social?

Pricing detail stays on [pricing](https://powrhealth.com/pricing). This page does not invent a Free/Pro split for scan-and-save.
