# Understand your day. Leave room for how you feel.

Bring sleep, heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, and training into one place. POWR's recovery readings are estimates, not a medical verdict.

## Your history provides context

POWR helps you compare recent readings with your own history, rather than treating someone else's numbers as a personal target. The quality and availability of data from Apple Health affect what the app can show.

A score is a summary. Read it alongside your sleep, recent activity, and how you feel. A reassuring number does not rule out illness or injury.

## Missing data is not a low score

If there is not enough recent information, a reading may be unavailable. Wear your device as intended and check its permissions before treating an empty display as a conclusion about your body.

POWR reads sleep recorded in Apple Health. It does not perform a sleep study or diagnose a sleep disorder.

## Training and soreness

Review recent sessions and muscle-recovery estimates together. You can log soreness to add context, but an estimate cannot assess a painful joint or decide whether an injury is ready for loading.

Do not use a recovery percentage as clearance to train through symptoms. A qualified clinician or trainer can help you decide what is appropriate.

## More than a readiness ring

The Bio tab can bring together cardio fitness, body measurements, State of Mind entries, and mindful minutes when the underlying data is available. These displays answer different questions and should not be treated as diagnoses.

Cycle information is optional. Predictions are estimates, cycles vary, and this feature must not be used for contraception.

## Choose what you share

Apple Health permissions are yours to grant or revoke. Some heart-related readings remain on-device; [your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data) explains storage, AI consent, and the separate cycle-sync control.

POWR may help you notice an unusual pattern. It cannot tell you the medical cause of that pattern. Bring persistent concerns to your healthcare professional.

## FAQ

### What does readiness tell me?

It gives context about recent recovery-related readings using your own history. It is an estimate, not a diagnosis or clearance to train.

### Why can the reading be unavailable?

There may not be enough recent information. Check your device and Apple Health permissions. Missing information should not be read as a low score.

### Does POWR know when I am getting sick?

No. It can help you notice changes in readings, but it cannot diagnose illness or establish what caused a change.

### Does my ECG leave the phone?

No. ECG samples, beat-to-beat intervals, one-minute heart-rate recovery, and sleeping breathing disturbances remain on-device.

### What happens to my cycle data?

The cycle log you keep inside POWR stays on the phone unless you enable the separate cycle-sync setting. See [your data](https://powrhealth.com/your-data).
