What app combines running plans, nutrition, and recovery?
POWR is one iPhone option. It records routes, kilometre splits, pace, barometric climb, and heart rate; builds periodized 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon plans on Pro; shifts nutrition targets with the training phase; and keeps sleep and recovery beside the plan. It is not a route-discovery network or a substitute for a running coach.
From the race date to the recovery day
Each surface has a specific job in the same training cycle.
| Surface | What POWR does | Proof |
|---|---|---|
| Race plan | Eight weeks for 5K, ten for 10K, twelve for a half marathon, and sixteen for a marathon, with base, build, peak, and taper phases. | Training plans |
| Live run | GPS route, kilometre splits, pace, average heart rate, climb within each split, and five heart-rate zones when age is available. | Workout tracking |
| Fuel | Food logging with calories, macros, micronutrients, and ingredients, plus a long-run fuel floor and taper-aware target changes. | Nutrition tracking |
| Recovery | Sleep, readiness, muscle recovery, heart signals, and training load against your own baseline. | Recovery |
How the pieces stay connected
A plan is useful only if today still makes sense inside it.
-
01
Name the race and date
The plan builder checks the minimum runway for the distance before it declares the request ready.
-
02
Record on POWR or through Apple Health
A run recorded in POWR carries its route, splits, and heart rate. Compatible workouts another app writes to Apple Health can also enter the shared timeline.
-
03
Read training beside fuel and sleep
The day can show the planned session, completed run, food, hydration, sleep, and recovery without typing the same workout twice.
A connected runner app is not every running product
POWR does not claim a social route network, live human coaching, race registration, or club features. Keep a specialist when those are the reason you use it.
The app is iPhone only. An Apple Watch is optional, but heart-rate and recovery depth depend on the data your devices record and the Health permissions you grant.
