Targets that can adapt. Still estimates.
POWR brings calorie and macro targets together with your food logs, weight history, and goals. Adaptive targets are included in Free.
A starting point, not a measurement
Your initial target is an estimate. As you log food and weight, POWR can update targets using more of your own history. This does not directly measure metabolism or eliminate the uncertainty in food logging.
Incomplete entries, changing routines, and short-term weight fluctuations can all affect how useful an estimate is. An app cannot know what you did not record.
Calories and macros together
See calories alongside protein, carbohydrate, and fat, then compare them with the entries in your diary. Macro tracking explains the information on each entry.
For general education, read maintenance calories or macro targets. The guide calculators use public methods and are separate from personalized app targets.
Keep control of your goals
Choose goals that reflect what you want to work toward. POWR can flag a goal it cannot support and offer alternatives. Those checks are not a medical assessment or a guarantee of safety.
You can set targets manually. Review what a change means for you, particularly when your schedule, appetite, training, or health changes.
- Weight and body-composition goals.
- Race and strength goals.
- Consistency goals that focus on a habit.
Training has context
Training plans and nutrition sit in the same app, so you can review your food targets alongside your training phase. See training plans for the planning workflow.
A difficult session is not a reason to treat a wearable calorie figure as an exact food allowance. Neither the watch nor the diary measures your needs perfectly.
When to get individual advice
These targets are not treatment. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, growth, eating-disorder recovery, medical conditions, and prescribed diets call for advice from a qualified professional who knows your situation.
If tracking makes eating or exercise more distressing, you can step back from the numbers. For symptoms, medication questions, or unintended weight changes, talk to your clinician rather than adjusting a target to explain them.
