POWR can suggest unrecorded activity from the information on your iPhone. Nothing becomes a workout until you confirm it.

A suggestion, not a finished log

Activity recorded through Apple Health can help POWR identify a possible session. Review the suggested activity and timing, make corrections, or dismiss it.

Detection is not guaranteed. Sessions that leave little wearable or motion data may be missed, and a suggested activity name can be wrong.

The confirmation is yours

Detection runs on your iPhone. A detected workout is not sent to the server until you save it. Calendar and motion access are optional permissions, and you can decline them.

POWR reads calendar titles when permitted; it does not create, edit, or delete calendar events.

Recording still gives you more

A detected session does not recreate GPS routes, splits, or sets that were never recorded. Start workout recording when you want those details.

Background availability depends on the information your device records and the permissions you grant. Check the source data if suggestions seem incomplete.

Sleep is different

POWR reads sleep from Apple Health instead of detecting sleep itself. See recovery and sleep for what those readings mean in the app.
