Our approach
Read our evidence standards and limitations before installing. General educational explanations are separate from the targets in your account.
POWR does not display a food grade. You see the recorded nutrients and ingredients, with optional meal discussion on Pro. Moving means starting a new food diary, not transferring a rating history.
Three of these are free. One is POWR Pro.

POWR does not display a food grade. On Pro, the coach discusses your meal in language, alongside its nutrition information.
Vitamins and minerals with %DV where a reference value exists, and what the food is actually made of. Both on the free tier, on every entry.
The coach's explanation of your logged meal. This is a Pro feature.
POWR requests 54 read types from HealthKit in one permission sheet. Whatever your old setup wrote there is history POWR reads on day one.
Every session Apple Health holds, with route and heart rate where the app that recorded them saved those too. You do not retype a run another app already wrote.
Sleep and heart history from Apple Health can provide context. Readings may be unavailable until enough recent data is present.
Resting rate, variability, and the raw signals underneath. Several of those POWR reads on the phone and sends nowhere.
The weigh-ins your scale or your last app wrote to Health. Permitted weight history is available alongside your new food diary.
Nutrition is the one that does not.
Nutrition is not among the 54 read types. POWR writes your meals to Health and never reads anyone else's in, and there is no importer. The diary starts on install day. The full accounting is on /switch.
A nutrient breakdown and a food grade answer different questions. POWR shows the recorded amounts without collapsing the meal into one displayed grade.
If you want an interpretation, Pro adds a discussion of the logged meal. It can be wrong, and it does not decide whether a food is permitted or whether a diet is medically appropriate.
What is free and what Pro adds is on pricing. iPhone only.
