Coming from MyFitnessPal. What actually changes.

Your log does not transfer. Nothing does that honestly, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. What changes is what an entry holds once you are here, and what the app is allowed to do with it.

What one entry carries here

Four rows. Three of them are on the free tier, and the fourth says plainly that it is not.

Every entry, free

Vitamins and minerals

Not a premium row and not a weekly summary. Each thing you log carries its micronutrients with %DV where a reference value exists, on the free tier.

Every entry, free

Ingredient-level data

What the food is made of, not only what it totals. It is what lets the coach say something about a meal beyond its calorie count.

Unlimited, free

Barcode, search, and manual

The three ways you already log. None of them is metered, and every entry is editable before it saves.

POWR Pro

Photo logging

Point the camera at the plate and review the estimate before it counts. Two or more angles when one will not do. This is the part that is paid.

What arrives on the first launch

If MyFitnessPal was writing to Apple Health, POWR reads that history rather than asking you to rebuild it.

Workouts

Every session Apple Health holds, with route and heart rate where the app that recorded them saved those too. You do not retype a run another app already wrote.

Sleep

Sleep and heart history from Apple Health can provide context. Readings may be unavailable until enough recent data is present.

Heart

Resting rate, variability, and the raw signals underneath. Several of those POWR reads on the phone and sends nowhere.

Weight and body

The weigh-ins your scale or your last app wrote to Health. Permitted weight history is available alongside your new food diary.

Nutrition is the one that does not.

Your food diary does not transfer. POWR can read permitted workouts, sleep, heart, and body measurements from Apple Health. Adaptive features depend on the history available.

A diary that gets read, not just filled

Your existing logging habit still matters. In POWR, you can keep calories, macros, micronutrients, and ingredient details together; on Pro, you can ask the coach about a meal you have recorded.

That conversation is optional. The free diary remains useful without AI, and a coach response does not replace checking the food and portion in the entry.

What is free and what Pro adds is on pricing. iPhone only.

FAQ

No. POWR has no importer, and it does not read nutrition out of Apple Health either — nutrition is a category POWR writes to Health rather than reads from it. Your workouts, sleep, heart, and weight history do come across through Health. Your food log does not. What moves and what does not covers it in full.
If those weigh-ins are in Apple Health and you grant access, POWR can read them. History stored only in the previous app does not transfer. Your food diary starts fresh in POWR.
Yes. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient-level data are on every entry, free. What POWR Pro adds is the AI: photo logging, chat, daily insights, and the coach's read on a meal.
No. MyFitnessPal's crowd-sourced catalogue is far larger and POWR does not match it. POWR covers barcode scanning, database search, manual entry, and saved meals, and photo logging on Pro is there for the plate that no database was ever going to have.
No. There are no ads on either tier. App analytics and crash reporting require consent and remain off unless enabled. See your data for the controls.
