Keep the diary. Lose the recipe library.

The honest version first: POWR has Plan my week, but no browsable recipe library, meal-plan library, guided diet programs, or fasting timer. If those libraries, programs, or timer are why you opened your last app this morning, stay there. If what you want is a diary with real nutrient depth and something that reads it back, here is what changes.

What POWR has instead

Two of these are free and two are POWR Pro. Nothing here is a recipe.

Every entry, free

Nutrient depth on every entry

Calories, macros, vitamins and minerals with %DV where a reference value exists, and ingredient-level data. Not a premium tab and not a weekly roll-up.

Free

Targets that move with you

POWR can adapt calorie and macro targets using your food logs, weight history, and goals. These remain estimates, not direct measurements of metabolism.

POWR Pro

Structured training plans

On Pro, POWR builds multi-week training plans with goal-specific phases, progression, and easier weeks. Review the proposed schedule and changes before accepting.

POWR Pro

Photo logging

Point the camera at the plate and review the estimate before it counts. Two or more angles when one will not do.

What arrives on the first launch

POWR requests 54 read types from HealthKit in one permission sheet. Whatever your old setup wrote there is history POWR reads on day one.

Workouts

Every session Apple Health holds, with route and heart rate where the app that recorded them saved those too. You do not retype a run another app already wrote.

Sleep

Sleep and heart history from Apple Health can provide context. Readings may be unavailable until enough recent data is present.

Heart

Resting rate, variability, and the raw signals underneath. Several of those POWR reads on the phone and sends nowhere.

Weight and body

The weigh-ins your scale or your last app wrote to Health. Permitted weight history is available alongside your new food diary.

Nutrition is the one that does not.

Your food diary does not transfer. POWR can read permitted workouts, sleep, heart, and body measurements from Apple Health. Adaptive features depend on the history available.

What POWR does not have

POWR has a meal planner: Plan my week. It does not ship a browsable recipe library, a meal-plan library, guided diet programs, or a fasting timer. Those are real product boundaries, and naming them here is cheaper for both of us than letting you find out on day three.

POWR can still scan a recipe from social and save it into the food log — see recipe scan. That is scan-and-save, not a library.

What is free and what Pro adds is on pricing. iPhone only.

FAQ

Not a library of them. POWR can scan a recipe from social and save it, you can save a meal you have logged and reuse it, and Plan my week is its meal planner. What it does not have is a browsable recipe library, a meal-plan library, or guided diet programs.
No. There is no fasting timer and no fasting protocol in the app.
No. POWR has no importer, and nutrition is a category it writes to Apple Health rather than reads from it. Workouts, sleep, heart, and weight come across through Health. What moves and what does not has the full accounting.
Yes. Calories, macros, vitamins, minerals, and ingredient-level data are on every entry, free, along with adaptive calorie and macro targets. POWR Pro is the AI: photo logging, chat, insights, and the coach's read.
No. POWR is iPhone only. An Android app is on the roadmap rather than in the current release.
